Measure Your Nails at Home

If you prefer to measure your own nails, measure the widest part of every nail in millimetres using one of the two methods below.

Tape or Paper Strip

Press the tape or paper strip firmly across the widest part of your nail, from one sidewall to the other, so it follows the natural curve of the nail. Mark both side edges, remove it and measure the distance between the marks in millimetres.

Soft Measuring Tape

Press the measuring tape gently but firmly across the widest part of your nail, from one sidewall to the other, following the natural curve of the nail. Record the measurement in millimetres.

You're Ready!

Once you have measured all five nails, choose your preferred nail shape and length below. Then use the corresponding size chart to convert your measurements into tip sizes.

How to use the size chart:

  1. Select your preferred nail shape.
  2. Choose the length.
  3. Compare your nail width with the chart to find the matching tip size.


Important information:

  • All measurements are shown in millimetres (mm). The top row of each chart shows the tip size, while the bottom row shows the nail width.
  • Each nail shape and length has its own size chart. Always check the chart for the exact style you are ordering.
  • If your nail width falls between two sizes, choose the larger size.
  • If your measurements match one of our standard sizes (XXS–XL), simply select that size when ordering. Otherwise, choose Custom Size.
  • If your measurement matches both a whole and a half tip size, choose the whole-number tip size.

Tip sizes are shape-specific

Nail tip sizes vary between different shapes and lengths. A tip size that fits you in one shape may not fit the same way in another.

For example, if you know your Medium Almond tip sizes, they may be different from your Short Square tip sizes.

Always check the sizing chart for the exact Shape & Length you are ordering.

Please remember: standard size combinations use tip numbers, but the actual width of each tip varies depending on the selected shape and length.

If you already know your sizes in one shape, do not automatically use the same tip numbers for another shape. Check the chart for the exact Shape & Length before ordering.
